I began my habitual re-read of the entire series after the release of
a new book, and finished /Jhereg/ today. I do not have it in front of
me, but there was a conversation between Aliera and Vlad on the topic
of the impending Dragon-Jhereg War that went a little like this:

V: Where is Sethra?
A: Dzur Mountain, preparing for a war.
V: Is she convinced it will come to that?
A: *shrug* But we Dragons always plan to win.

At the time, I remembered this email thread about the topic of Sethra
as Dzur or Dragon and considered the dialogue a source pointing to
Sethra as a one of the latter.

I still consider her to be both, myself.
Perhaps one of the earliest experiments before the various animal
natures were fully seperated?
