Ah but it made for great story-telling. I do find the notion that  
Verra is Vlad's mother to be interesting.  A pity there is nothing on  
Noish-pa or Vlad's father's side to  corroborate in some what that he  
was "adopted", or his mother (does he ever mention his mother?) wasn't  
his real mom.
