Kiera and Sethra have different personalities. For instance, Kiera is
usually a lot brighter, more casual, somewhat more cheery than Sethra
is.  She says at one point, "Kiera's never killed anyone." I think
this is a revealing statement; more than just a random factoid, it's
one of the major differences between the two and, perhaps, part of how
she gets "into character." What would Sethra be like if she had never
killed anyone, either?
