Hmph. And here I thought it was a reference to the "Baker Street 
Irregulars" in /The Moon is a Harsh Mistress/... But then, I'm a bit of a 
Heinlein nut, so go figure.

Granted, Heinlein did get *his* reference from Sherlock Holmes...
