On the other hand, it is a good survival trait to accept as "right"
whatever we have been taught - without analysis. I was reading about
people who feed California Vultures with vulture puppets. The vultures
grew up, flew to power lines, and because of their size, were able to
land with one foot on a live wire, and one on a ground - and were
electrocuted. So they made fake power poles, and pecked at the infants
who approached the power poles. Lots of our rules have nothing to do
with thinking them out.

Having a "right" way of doing things works. What doesn't work is
being Righteous. That is enforcing our sense of right on others.
That's what most wars are about these days.
