I think so.  It's just that it was so obvious that I didn't even think
to point it out; even a faint knowledge of the Holmes canon should
include the phrase "Baker Street Irregulars".  If someone doesn't know
enough Holmes to get that, explaining it wouldn't really make much of
a difference.

But I assume completists would want to annotate the usage, just because.

It's a multiple pun, because "Irregulars" originally means an ad-hoc
military force.
