Given that these novels are all transcribed from what are presumably tapes 
recorded by a tape-recorder of some type, then that means that "Nightslayer" 
could also be "Knightslayer", only spelled wrong.

We know that dragaerans have orders of nobility, ie, Dukes, Counts, etc, but 
does that hierarchy include Knights?

Isn't a knight the lowest form of nobility in those cases?  In which case, 
wouldn't Vlad's father have purchased a Knighthood (or perhaps a landless 
title, as is possible to acquire in House Orca)

In any event, go Knightslayer!  It's chief power is probably disturbing the 
sound that occurs when two halved coconut shells are struck together :P
