I have as well.  It is quite worth it, but to be honest I didn't see all
that much of a Brustian (?) style, myself. (That may be mostly due to me
thinking of SKZB as completely unique, but...)

There are really quite a few stunningly cinematic scenes in that novel
though, and the faux-academic style can be very witty (though occasionally a
little over-bearing).

I'd certainly recommend it.
