Vlad gets his highlights done (or did before leaving the Jhereg) at a 
place called "Hair 'n Whiskers", run by an Easterner named, IIRC, Pierre 
  or Janos or something.

He tried a perm and color at one point, but Cawti threatened to cut off 
more than his whiskers if he continued, claiming she couldn't allow 
herself to be seen in public with him as long as he held to such 
fashionable beliefs.
