I think the later Histories claim that the earlier ones have been 
published.  Vlad and Cawti see outtakes, but something real comes
out early in Norathar's reign.

Note that some of the Paarfi-is-accurate/
Paarfi-is-Sethra's-mouthpiece-and-maybe-lying-about-everything
theories rests on the people described in the Histories being around to
react.  We know of course that Vlad has not read e.g. the early chapters
of _TVoA_, but surely Morrolan will have before _TLoCB_.
