If you were the Emperor, what sorts of low-probability, high-impact
threats would keep you up at night?

* There must have been hundreds of thousands of descendants of the
e'Kieron/e'Lanya line by now. If canon is to believed, many of them
will have the same ability as Aliera and Vlad to create raw amorphia
from nothing. It is even possible that some of these souls have
reincarnated as Easterners by now. At any moment, somebody could set
off another Adron-sized amorphia bomb which the Gods could, probably,
contain. This reassures me only somewhat. Perhaps this is why study of
Elder Sorcery is illegal.

* Easterners could re-develop the advanced technology which brought
them to Dragaera. In a relative blink of the eye (500 years?) the
Empire could find itself opposed by a rival as populous and militarily
powerful as itself. The rival would probably be expansionist. I bet
Zerika has spies scattered throughout the whole world--but there are
other worlds. Is somebody keeping tabs on them all?

* Outside-context problems. What's out there besides the Jenoine?
Amorphia was created by a fluke, unique accident. Are there any other
accidents waiting to happen? Can an empire survive a million years and
*not* encounter a few outside-context problems?
