[Dragaera] Jhegaala (movie reference)

According to the book (CoMC), Edmund Dantes is imprisoned for a long time. I can't recall the exact number, but his rival for Mercedes has time to marry her and have a son who is at least late teens/early twenties. (AFAICR) Even granting several years (I estimate three) after Edmund's escape to recover the treasure, set himself up, and begin his intelligence gathering, it would (IMHO) be approximately 15 years in prison.
 
But that's my opinion only ;)
