This is an excellent point, and follows the point of mine about knowledge and resources...

Vlad has spent so much of his life REacting, being passive, getting beaten up by Orca bullies, or Jhereg bouncers, or Phoenix Guards, or Borlisconi's thugs, or undead Necromancers, or power-hungry Guild leaders, or Jenoine. All because he's a poor Easterner without the resources to adequately protect himself.

Now that he has Godslay... er, Lady Teldra, he finally has the means to protect himself, even with half the Jhereg after him, and now the other half also after him, if you follow my meaning.

This newfound bundle of resources may eventually (say, in about 3-4 years) make him a much more assertive individual.

I am eager to see what /Iorich/ has in store for us.
