Well, that's just a standard-issue allusion. I didn't catch it, but
then I've never heard it said about Lincoln either, so there wasn't
anything to associate it with. It's not up to the level of
groaning-awfulness as the "true, true salad flax," or obscure
potentates possessed by epilepsy.
