I think 'eliminate' is entirely too confident a word for such a scrap of
partial hearsay.  It can be said to point in that general direction, at
least.

Also, recall that this is a universe in which time travel exists.  Maybe
Morrolan's fight there took place years later -- in his own personal
timeline.  The fact that only his 'soul' was there makes that seem more
plausible to me, for some reason.
