Implications: There are some who have speculated that Drien, the early
shaman who was once a man and became a woman or perhaps vice versa,
was Aliera. (This would also explain why she's bonded to a Great
Weapon without an apparent sexual identity, whereas GWs seem to
generally have the opposite gender of their wielders.) If Aliera can
seduce Dumbledore--a gay man according to J.K. Rowling--I would count
that as evidence in favor of their theory. Either she changed back to
a man in order to get pregnant or she still has enough masculinity
about her to attract him.
