I haven't seen Blow, but this discussion made me think of Depp in The
Ninth Gate. That film wasn't much of a hit with audiences or critics,
but I enjoyed it, and Depp's character is not exaggerated like it is
in most of the other films people have mentioned in this thread. He's
also fairly sardonic.

I'm afraid he's not much of a bruiser, though, so I don't know that
it'd make Howard any happier.
