You yourself have an almost perfect natural resistance to powerful magnetic fields. The same cannot be said about the device you are using to read this email, however. 

While the Jenoine may not have cared about the amorphia on their own account, I'm sure it would have bothered them if their trellanstone (among their other things) had suddenly dissolved into a pool of amorphia.
