[Dragaera] Labels

Thinking about Rush Limbaugh's calling Pope Francis a Marxist got me thinking about labels (Sure, the Pope is looking at the example of Jesus as pretty much the opposite of the values of Pat Robertson).

Putting a label on something doesn't evaluate it. Instead it obscures the measurements that *should* be made. (Even if "should" is defined as giving support to the basic credo of "My values are what God intended from the beginning - certainly not my grandparents' values, and tragically not my grandchildren's values").

Labels hide meaning - especially when they are used to validate or invalidate ideas. (The croneyism that big corporations have today has very little to do with capitalism)

In The Incrementalists, there was symbolism standing for real things - but each individual has his own symbols. That limits how much the symbols could obscure reality.
