Yep.  And in fact at the end of the somewhat bitter epilogue of _SL_, 
Pel remarks that there are few like Aerich, even among the Lyorn.  Of
course it's probably a background theme of the Texts that it's rare to 
meet a pure instance of a house.

It takes two horns to make a dilemma.  I guess that's why Aerich is 
never torn.
