[Dragaera] resent email that got bounced by List Admin

I'm thinking Vlad's aversion to all things Morganti could be one explanation for his reluctance to learn the ins and outs of Lady Teldra.
Vlad has explained over and over again, the near paralyzing effect the blades have on him, as shown by his experience with Daymar when they checked out Barrit's weapons room. Lady Teldra may be a comfort when sheathed, but she is clearly an uncomfortable force when drawn. As Vlad is averse to uncomfortable situations, experimentation would not be high on his to do list.

Thanks for reading,
Scott

Unlurking here for a moment to suggest that, far from it being out of
character, Vlad's not thinking about LT is very much emblematic of the way
he has handled his large problems over the years.

As a single example, consider his relationship with Cawti. For how long
did he put off figuring out what was happening as she drifted away from him?

Other examples abound, I think - but the main point I guess I would make is
that introspection doesn't seem to be his strong suit, and
"experimentation" as a means of finding knowledge isn't really his oeuvre.

Charging in and slicing away, or coming up with an intricate plan, yes.
Deep reflection and trial-and-error? Not so much.

And hey, I'm super glad I finally got on this list, after planning on doing
it for years but never quite taking the step! Loving the conversations.
