I have to believe it is extremely pervasive - after all it is ingrained 
that there are very real biological differences between the character of 
people from various Dragaeran races.

What isn't so clear is whether some of the hatreds that we on Earth have 
towards people who are "almost like us" are replicated there.

We tend to expect people from completely different backgrounds to be 
different - but reserve a lot of our hatred for people who "should know  
better".   It's not the infidels that we care about so much as the 
heretics.    Dragaerans might not be so subject to this except within 
their houses.   After all, you can't expect a Lyorn to act like an 
Issola, so having contempt for such failure is like hating a dog for 
walking on four legs.
