I seem to recall that when Vlad went to that island(Greenaere or 
something)  to kill the king, he knew he was blocked from sorcery 
because he couldn't check the time? And since the reason he was blocked 
was the island's deposits of phoenix stone, then wouldn't /wearing/ 
phoenix stone do the same thing?
