I've never been a fan of Danny Kaye, but this was the first movie I saw 
without my parents (a double bill with Gulliver's Travels), and has been 
a favorite of mine ever since.   I have a Laser Disk of it and my 
grandchildren have watched it with me.

Glynnis Johns was my idea of a woman.   The supporting cast is great, 
and even Kaye is great - even some of his lines when he's being Kaye 
(mostly being the jester - but primarily being stupid) are great.  His 
physical comedy is wonderful.
