In "grave danger", "grave" means "serious" and comes from the French
and Latin words for "heavy" <http://www.bartleby.com/61/89/G0238900.html>.
 It's not related to the tomb kind of grave, which has to do with
digging.  FWIW.

Jerry Friedman hopes he didn't spoil /Dzur/ by revealing that grave
danger might be mentioned in connection with it.
