Come again? Vlad's awash with cash during /Teckla/. In fact, it's this
fact which allows him to resolve the South Adrilankha situation by
buying the place from Herst or whoever.

Or spread around South Adrilankha. It would be interesting to find out
what she did with it, in a future novel.
