Perhaps it a matter of living with the consequences of your actions.  
It may be that other Dragon's may dislike her for what she's done, 
but they would dislike her much more if she tried to disown her 
actions.

By allowing Parffi to write some version of the truth, she is 
accepting responsibility by default, and regaining a bit of status.  A 
sort of: "oh how horrible  of Aliera to have consorted with an 
assassin, but I respect she's not trying to deny it".
