Well yeah (except for the Purple Robes), but that's the point. Everybody
is responsible for their own fate; nobody takes on the karmic burdens,
if you will, of anyone else. No one intercedes with the Lords of
Judgment regarding the dispositions of the souls of others. (Except Vlad
and Morrolan, as regards to Aliera, but that was only for 1 soul, rather
a special case.) When the Lords of Judgment decide to send help to the
Empire, they send the Necromancer, a demon, but she provides practical,
not spiritual help.

If Devera incarnates and radically changes the path of the Empire and
the system of the Lords of Judgment deciding the disposition of the
souls of the dead, that would count. Or if Vlad causes the souls of
Easterners to be managed by the Lords of Judgment, rather than just
reincarnated willy-nilly, that might count. But honestly, I don't see
this particular religious tradition playing out on Dragaera. I think a
Guan Yin/bodhisattva figure would make more sense, and again, I'd call
Devera the best candidate for that role.

Um. I may reverse myself. Zerika could potentially be a messianic
figure. She returns alive from the Paths of the Dead with the
"salvation" of the Empire in the form of the Orb. In the Judaic
tradition, that might make her a messiah. And when you consider that the
Jenoine would have figured out that the Orb was missing eventually and
then attacked and presumably destroyed or enslaved the humans and/or
dragaerans, she might even be a messiah in more spiritual terms.
