[Dragaera] Vlads blood

Dont ask me what took me so long to find the book Dzur, but I finally did 
and finally read the bugger. Very well written. I knew sometime that Mario 
would eventualy HAVE to make an appearance in one of the books and it 
surprised me how in this book. Im fairly sure a lot of whats happened in 
this book has been gone over repeatedly by people here, but please remember 
Im new to the forum and have no idea what peoples opinions are...

Anyway, my biggest puzzle about Dzur is the mention that Verra took some of 
Vlads blood. Anyone have ideas as to why? I can see what a vial of her blood 
could be useful for, but his? Outside of witchcraft, Ive no idea.
