Aha. Indicative of the gravity with which she treated the situation, given
her preparations even.  Our little Vlad must be a bit closer to where verra
needs him, a bit more grown up, and far, far better armed.  Also noted that
she points out that he isn't begging, so in some sense her little rebellious
teenager is demanding to be treated as a grown up...
