The fact that Great Weapons, apparently unlike Morganti weapons, can
be persuaded to sometimes *not* destroy souls may be a convenient
excuse for not attempting to outlaw them, given that trying to take a
GW from its owner is a suicidally dangerous move anyway.

P.S. I wonder if, in /Taltos/, Blackwand ate the souls of the
Dragonlords Morrolan fought, or opted not to.
