Though I wonder why not.  You can mess it up by moving?  He's thinking
of Dragaerans who can mess it up by blatting energy around, even if they
don't know other sorcery?  Though Savn wouldn't have known that.

Speaking of teleporting items, I'm re-reading Jhereg too, and Vlad asks
Kragar for a Morganti dagger, and shortly thereafter (ridiculously
quickly, really) Kragar has one and teleports it to Vlad in the
warehouse with Morrolan's body.
