Last Call is, to my mind, the finest of his works after "Anubis Gates".  The
mostly-unrelated sequel, "Expiration Date" is also excellent and rewards
rereading.  The third book that ties the two storylines together (Earthquake
Weather) was horribly disappointing and I recommend you avoid it.
