Well, if Kiera was Sethra in the RPG, that settles it.
Were you one of the players?  Or did you hear that from
one of them?

This raises another question: I've speculated that
Sethra couldn't leave Dzur Mountain /as Sethra/ in
/Jhereg/, but is it possible that she knew Kiera
would be more useful to Vlad?
