And in the next book, LT wakes up, is evil, and demands a steady diet
of Collateralized Debt Obligations. The Council invests heavily and is
bankrupted by the crash, and House Jhereg is acquired by House Orca at
a firesale price. Zerika gets pregnant by Laszlo but defaults on the
mortgage on the Imperial Palace and ends up living in Sethra's
basement. Norathar is killed by an invisible ... well, who knows what
- it was invisible. The Paarfiad turns out to be a series of fictions
authored by the Sorceress in Green to confuse matters. Devera is
killed by Vlad Norathar, sending Verra into a deep funk in which she
leaves the storyline permanently for parts unknown. Everyone else on
Dragaera commits suicide off-stage.

I know, I know - Jose is OK with all of that.
