[Dragaera] Peasant fantasy

To me, "peasant" specifically means a farm laborer at or near the bottom of a class-based society.  Even Savn is on the borderline, since he's apprenticed to a physicker and may be called "Master" some day.

If we're using a broader definition, /The Misenchanted Sword/, by Lawrence Watt-Evans, might qualify.  (I like it.)

Sam Gamgee is not entirely unlike a peasant, and some parts of /The Lord of the Rings/ are told from his perspective.
