[Dragaera] two words on _Hawk_

I've been meaning since it was published to make a few comments on _Hawk_, 
but haven't managed to for uninteresting reasons.  A Textual one worth 
mentioning, however, was not feeling the need upon finishing the book to 
go back and reread obsessively.  Perhaps that was due to external factors, 
perhaps due to the Text emphatically concluding many of the developments 
since _Phoenix_ in 1990.

Anyway, some things I wanted to mention: it's odd for Daymar to be having 
a drink with Aliera et al., and to be entertaining.  It's funny that Vlad 
wakes "from a light sleep" with the kernel of the coming caper in his head 
and makes a sacreligous exclamation, because, well, of course Verra plants 
ideas through dreams.  It's also odd that that goes (I believe) entirely 
unremarked throughout the narrative.

And the spell Vlad sells to the Jhereg - I had a bit of trouble suspending 
disbelief with the various magical items cobbled together in what almost 
seemed like an intentionally ridiculous way.  Also the conclusion - 
esp. after the discussion of melodrama, Vlad tossing the amulet away 
seemed, well, unreasonable, even if he does need to force himself down a 
new path.

Anyway, a very satisfying Text, as good at least as _Tiassa_ and _Issola_.
