Could be Devera. Could also be Verra. She's been known to influence 
people with dreams, after all.

While the laugh "reminded him of Polyi's" that  doesn't necessarily mean 
that it is a young person's laugh. Maybe it reminded him of Polyi 
through some other aspect of the timbre or character of the sound.

And we know Verra has plans for Vlad, right?
