[Dragaera] Athyra question

For some reason, I'm not sure there *is* an endgame for Devera. I've always
seen her appearances as a author flourish/signature. She's in a few of
Steven's books that have nothing to do with Dragaera. She's been used as a
story-telling device for bringing the story to different times and places.
But considering her lack of interaction with Vlad, as opposed to her
grandmother for example, makes me feel she's just a cameo character.
