Very randomly, I wonder if Vlad&Teldra's confrontation with the Left Hand
sorceress ended the way it did because LH sorcery is soul-based in some
way, that being the secret ingredient.  So the sorceress did something
along the lines of swinging her soul at Vlad, and Teldra in parrying
naturally destroyed it.  Of course swinging one's soul at someone with a
GW would be rather dumb, esp. if one knows anything about this GW, so
maybe this speculation refutes itself.  Also it avoids the nice conflict
I imagine Teldra will have over her new existence as a soul-eating entity.


Guess the old teleport-an-anvil-over-the-other-guy's-head spell isn't
a favorite in the Empire.
