Well, we've known about "Wild Boars" (i.e. the one poked by the porker 
poker). Are these "pigs" in our sense of the word? Do Dragaerans raise 
them as food animals? The implication Vlad gives when trying the 
"Hunter's Stew" earlier in /Jhegaala/ (made with pork) is that boar-meat 
is tougher, and that he can tell the difference. To me, this is implying 
that pigs are food animals on Dragaera.

In any case, as Mia just correctly pointed out, pigs were mentioned way 
back in chapter 9 of /Athyra/, and I apparently just missed the 
reference. Memory like a watchacallit, and all that. I nearly think this 
answers the question definitively.
