righto.  its genetic as I understand it.  and those genetic traits will 
continue even if out of the house (kragar for example, though I still have 
some sneaking suspicion that he's been sent on a mission by some dragon to 
infiltrate the jhereg as a military intelligence matter).  if your genetics 
don't clearly stick you in a house you slide into teckla/jhereg territory, 
or if you get housekicked due to some heinous crime like not fitting in to 
your house.  I would think that folks from greenaere are probably 
genetically interbred enough to not have a specific house delineation any 
more, so they'd be viewed as teckla essentially, unless they did whatever 
needs doing to get into the house (defeating 10 champions from dzur, for 
instance).
