For some reason I thought canon had nixed that idea. At one point,
perhaps during the battle with the Jenoine, Vlad compares that dragon
to the dragon he met back in the Halls of Judgment and says this one
seems different. Maybe something along the lines of "I'd only ever
seen one dragon before..."
